Alexandra A. “Sandra” Meek, 65, of Janesville passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center. She was born in Greenock, Scotland on September 11, 1945, the daughter of Donald and Nan (Arthur) McKenzie. She attended schools in Scotland. Sandra married John C. Meek on May 15, 1963 in Greenock, Scotland. She came to the United States in May of 1968 to join her husband who came here a few months earlier.

Surviving are her husband, John, 2 sons, Donald (Debbie) of Moyock, NC, Douglas (Chere) of Green Bay, WI, 6 grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Joshua, John, Kyle, Cassandra, 2 great-grandchildren, Kailynn and Jaden Rose, 2 sisters and their families, Marion (Donald) McGregor and Victoria (John) Harper, her father -in-law and mother-in-law, John and Rose Meek, sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, James Meek.

Private services will be held at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, Janesville with Rev. Bruce A. Jones of First Presbyterian Church officiating.
